Christmas Night

It's challenge time today at Cornish Heritage Farms and we are creating with Thomas Kinkade stamps.  Have you seen how many Thomas Kinkade stamps are in the Store?

To keep the focus on the beautiful Night Before Christmas stamp, I stamped it in black and colored in portions of the image.  Using Zig Twin Touch Markers, I added some yellow to the windows, some green to the wreath and some red to the sleigh.  For the pathway, I used Zig Alcohol Markers.

After cutting  my image to size, I used Ranger Distress Antique Linen Ink to add a little color around the entire image.

For the background, I used the Dots background stamp which is a wonderful full size stamp that fits the front of a card.  To keep the subtle colors intact, I stamped the background with brown ink on red cardstock, then mounted the image on top.

The sentiment is one of 18 stamps from the Night Before Christmas  set which I also stamped in black ink, then fussy cut and mounted on cardstock before adhering to the card with foam adhesives.

Don't forget to stop by the blog and see what the other designers have been creating, and be sure to enter your card for a chance to win a prize.
