Watercoloring with Art Impressions

Hi everyone, I've been exploring the possibilities of water coloring with Art Impressions Stamps.

Using the Art Impressions Containers stamp set, I created 2 cards.

I began by stamping the milk container with brown ink.  Then I added some fence posts along either side.

Then, I water washed in the sky and stamped some clouds in black ink.  I then stamped tiny flowers around the milk pail.

The panel was inked then matted before adding to the card.

Next I stamped a pail in black ink slightly off center.

I stamped fences around the bucket.  I stamped blue clouds and water washed in the sky.  Next, I water washed in some dirt under the bucket, then added some tiny flowers around the fence posts.

I added a die cut sentiment, then I added some tiny birds on the fence posts.

Love how these cards turned out and I'll definitely be making more.

Stamped Clipboard

Hi everyone, my newest project  on the Ann Butler Designs blog is this altered clipboard.

Begin by painting a clipboard with white paint.    Use Blueberry Ink to stamp the 2" Dots across the bottom plank.

Stamp the striped stamp using Aquamarine Crafter's Ink.  Repeat on the remaining planks.

Paint Tattered Angels High Impact Grey Paint about the panel for more definition.

Use Blueberry Crafter's Ink to add color to the chipboard elements.

Use the Scor-Pal to score cardstock, forming a pen holder.

Add the chipboard elements to the panel.  Add the pen holder in the right corner.

Add paper under the clip and pens to the pen holder.

I think this would make a wonderful gift to help someone remember all the tasks to be done on a daily basis. OR, hang it in your own home and track what you need to do.

Image may contain: text

Hi everyone, the Joy Clair design team is participating in the  Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Joy Clair is a Super Sponsor!!!!   Please stop by the Joy Clair blog to see all the amazing projects created for this hop.

I'm using the Coffee Lovers stamp set along with the Uh-Oh Ink Splatter stamp set.  We all seem to spill our coffee at some point, don't we???

I stamped some of the Uh-Oh Ink Splatter images along the bottom of my card in brown ink.

Keeping it simple, I stamped and fussy cut the cup, adding it over the ink splatters with foam adhesives.  Then I stamped and die cut enjoy, adhering it slightly over the cup.

Hi everyone, Sunsational Stamps is participating in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I'm using the Love you Latte stamp set, a fun set with many images and phrases

I created a tag using a coffee stain stencil from Ranger with modeling paste.  To add a little color, I spritzed the tag with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

I cut out 2 of the cups and colored the center portions.  Then added the coffee sized strip across the center.

Please remember to stop by the Sunsational store to see all the designs that are available.  And stop by the Sunsational Stamps blog to see how the designers have used these stamps.  Be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win a prize.

Remember with SRM Stickers

Hi everyone, I am participating in the Designer Crafts Connection blog hop this month.  This month we are working with SRM Stickers.

I received a sheet of stickers entitled a Year to Remember, so I thought I'd create a planner for a friend.  I chose a spiral bound book, decorating the cover in Rinea Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper that I embossed with a Couture Creations Embossing Folder.

I then created tabs for each month and added the monthly stickers on top.

I applied the tabs to tags, inked them and added them to the planner, splitting the pages evenly for each month.

Then to highlight each month, I used additional stickers which pertained to that month.

I cut apart a Tutti Designs die cut and adhered it on the front cover and added "A year to remember" sticker to the front cover.

Please stop by the Designer Crafts Connection blog to see the variety of projects created with SRM Stickers this month.

Blog Hopping with Joy Clair Stamps

No automatic alt text available.

Hi everyone, it's time to celebrate new stamp sets from Joy Clair.  Today we are working with the Grungy Flag Background and Happy Fourth stamp sets.

You should have arrived here from LeeAnn's blog.

The Grungy Flag Background is a perfect size for cards.  Simply ink it up and stamp it on white cardstock.  Since it is "Grungy", I lightly inked the edged with brown ink.  Next I matted it with blue and red cardstock.  The phrase is from the Happy Fourth stamp set which I die cut and added to the card.

My next card was stamped a little lighter than the first and more "grungy" looking.  The phrase was die cut and added to the card with foam adhesives.

Multi-color Fireworks

Hi everyone, I've got new projects on the Just For Fun Rubber Stamps blog today.

I've use the Fireworks stamp to create 2 cards and some party favors.

I cut 2 white panels.  I created fireworks in orange, yellow and red for one card and red, blue and purple for the second.  You can ink the stamp with assorted colors then stamp onto the white panels.

I matted each panel with cardstock and added sentiments from the Sentiments 1 stamp set.

Next, I inked the Fireworks stamp and repeatedly stamped it around the bowls.  Thinking these will be great party favors!

Masculine Cards with RInea Foiled Papers

Hi everyone, have you tried Rinea Foiled Papers yet?  I've got 2 very different cards to share today using these amazing foiled papers.

Needing  a masculine birthday card, I die cut a border of gears from  Ruby/Ruby Star Stuck Foiled Paper.

Rinea Foils cut so easily - even the tiniest of details cuts precisely.  Once I die cut the gears, I embossed them, then lightly inked the gears with brown ink.

I used an assortment of 7Gypsies papers, distressing, then matting them with cardstock.  I adhered the gears to the left side of the card.  A simple birthday sentiment from Joy Clair stamps finished off the card.

For my next card, I embossed kraft cardstock and lightly inked it, adding it to the card.  Next, I cut Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and then embossed it to create a focal element.  I matted the embossed panel with cardstock then adhered it to a larger panel.  Whisker Graphics twine was wrapped around the panels which were then adhered to the card.   A torn strip of foiled paper was matted with cardstock and adhered on top.

Using chipboard elements from the Robin's Nest, I inked each with Memento Ink.   I cut a hot air balloon from Ruby/Ruby Star Struck Foiled Paper then added it to the hot air balloon basket frame and placed it over the twine.

A pennant was created from cardstock and pattern paper.  The chipboard Fly was adhered on top then added to the card on a slight angle.

What do you think?

Summer Party Decorations

I've got some party decorations on the Proxxon blog using assorted tools.

Who wouldn't have fun creating a banner from mini party hats?  Tie them together with Whisker Graphics and spell out Summer with Rinea Foiled Papers.

And when the sun goes down, turn them over and place battery operated candles inside each hat.

Please stop by the Proxxon blog for more details.

Flawless for Summer Event with Joy Clair

Hi everyone, it's time to celebrate a new stamp set from Joy Clair.  Today we are working with the Flawless stamp set.  Stop by the Joy Clair blog for tons of inspiration from the design team.

This set has 11 stamps.  Think of the possibilities!

Using the Misti, I began by placing the stamps on a white panel.

I inked the stamps with assorted colors and closed the Misti.  Then I reinked the stamps and stamped again.  I didn't ink the BeYoutiful stamp.

I matted the panel with hot pink cardstock.  I love how it brings out the colors in the stamped images.

Next, I made another card combining the Flawless stamp set with the Designer Labels stamps set.

Again, using the Misti allowed me to realign the stamps and stamp in multiple layers and colors.

I first stamped the dress from the Designer's Label stamp set on a white panel with blue ink.

Next, I stamped the dress bottom in a darker shade of  blue.  The Misti allowed me to perfectly stamp the 2nd color.

Next, I stamped assorted elements from the Flawless stamp set.  Then I reinked and restamped the images in multiple colors.

Add a few Robin's Nest dew drops for some bling!

What do you think?
